At the 3.30pm session of this popular event last Thursday (24 September) dedicated staff at the library had officially delivered Rhymetime to over 5000 children and 5000 adults.

Cambridgeshire County Council's Head of Community and Cultural Services ,Christine May said "Rhymetimes have proved a big success story here at Central. They're a fantastic way to get young children into literacy and for parents to socialise."

Free Rhymetime sessions are delivered across the county aimed at children from birth to 18 months. They last around 15-20 minutes. More details can be found on www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/library 

Sessions are held at Central Library on Thursdays (one at 2.30pm and one at 3.15pm) and Saturdays at 10.30am.
