The British Wings for Life World Run starts in Cambridge on Sunday 7 May.

During the event a number of road closures will be in place for the safety of everyone taking part. 

The following roads will be closed for the duration of time stated:

7am-3pm Parkside (Cambridge)
7am-6pm  Park Terrace (Cambridge)
11.30am-1pm Regent Street, St Andrews Street, Sydney Street, Market Street, Market Hill, St Mary’s Street, Trinity Street, St Johns Street, Bridge Street, Magdalene Street, Castle Street, Huntingdon Road (Cambridge) 
11.55am-2pm Girton Road, Cambridge Road, High Street (Girton)
1-6pm Church Street, Priest Lane, Iram Drove (Willingham), Cow Lane, High Street, Church End (Rampton)

The following roads will be used as part of the event, during the times stated there will be a small number of opportunities to access them with permission from the race marshalls however due to the nature of the event it is not possible to provide exact timings for this. Motorist are advised to plan alternative routes as much as possible.

12-6pm Oakington Road (Girton) Cambridge Road, Water Lane, Station Road (Oakington), Rampton Road, School Lane (Rampton) 
12.15-6pm Home Farm Road, Longstanton Bypass B1050 (Longstanton)
12.30-6pm  Ramper Road, Over Road (Longstanton), Gravel Bridge Road, Longstanton Road, King Street, Whines Lane, Mill Road, Willingham Road (Over) Over Road, High Street (Willingham)
1.15-6pm Rampton Road, Lambs Lane, Oakington Road (Cottenham)

Bus service disruption 

A number of bus services will also be disrupted during the duration of the event.
