As part of this yearâ€™s Cambridgeshire Celebrates Age, a Health and Wellbeing Fair is being held at Cambridge Central Library next month.
There will be a range of display stalls providing information about the practical help and support available to help older people maintain their health and wellbeing. In addition to the displays there will be a choice of fun activities for people to join in such as table tennis and hand massage, and a talk about healthy snacks.
The Health and Wellbeing Fair is being held in the third floor conference and exhibition space at the Central Library on 29 October between 10am and 1pm. The exhibitors will include:

Â· Alzheimerâ€™s Society
Â· Cambridgeshire Alliance for Independent Living
Â· Cambridgeshire Hearing Help
Â· Cambridgeshire Librariesâ€™ Health Information Team
Â· Carers Support Team, Cambridgeshire County Council
Â· NRS Healthcare.
Information will be provided about staying independent, safe and well, being a carer, help at home, aids to make life easier, car schemes, volunteering, leisure activities available through the library, and Community Navigators.
