The past few months have been fantastic for The Library Presents...Arts Alive, with nearly 2000 people attending arts events in libraries across the county.
Come and celebrate the end of the 2017/18 programme with us - enjoy a fantastic event, catch up with friends or colleagues, and share your ideas for the future programme.
 
  • A Box of Delights - Animated short films

Nine award-winning short films from the British Animation Awards, specially selected for 8-12s. Discover an amazing variety of animation techniques from filmmakers around Europe, exploring stories and themes full of creativity and humour.

Arbury Community Centre - Thursday 12 April, 3.00pm - 5.00pm

  • A Taste of Latin - Music

Come on a musical journey from Spain to South America with ‘Sonrisa’. A collection of original material and traditional songs, from Cuban Son and Bossa Nova to Samba and Rumba, this show offers the chance to get up and have a go or sit back and soak up the spectacle at an event full of fun vibes, toe-tapping rhythms and heartfelt songs.

Ramsey Library and Market - Saturday 14 April, 11.00am-1.00pm

Soham Library - Saturday 28 April, 7.00pm - 9.00pm

The Library Presents has Arts Council funding to continue for four years. There will be more events in even more libraries!  The team is now starting work on a new menu of artists that communities can select from.
