A series of events taking place across the county will involve some road closures and delays in July. Please find below details of these events that may affect your travel plans for the coming few weeks.
Cambridge Cancer Research Race for Life 2017 - Sunday 16th July
To accommodate the race, the following roads in Cambridge will be closed from 7:00 to 14:00:
Regents St (N/B), St Andrews St (N/B), Park Terrace, Emmanuel St, Corn Exchange St, Trinity St, Kings Parade, Bennet St, Trumpington St, Silver St, Trinity Ln, St Johns St, Green St, Sidney St, Bridge St, Thompson Ln, Magdelene St, Jesus Ln, Queen Ln, Senate House Passage, Garret Hostel Ln, Hobson St, Sussex St, Market St, Peas Hill, Pety Cury, Market Hill, Rose Cresent, Round Church St, St Marys St, Wheeler St, Parsons Court, Gifford Place, Hobsons Passage, Downing Place, St Tibbs Row, St Marys Passage, Senate House Passage.

Secret Garden Party - 20th – 24th July
Traffic delays are expected in Abbots Ripton/Huntingdon and the surrounding areas.
The following roads will be closed from 7:00 on 18/7 to 18:00 on 24/7 : Kings Ripton Road, Sapley Road, Wennington Road. Access will be maintain for residents at all times (after Wennington Road).
Speed restriction (30 MPH) will be in place in Sawtry Way and St Ives Road.
Human Rights March – Saturday 22nd July
A Human Rights March is scheduled through the centre of Cambridge between 13:30 and 17:00 on Saturday 22 July.
The March will leave from Parker Piece at 13:30 and go across the city centre via Kings Parade and Jesus Green before returning to Parker Piece at 17:00. Please expect delays if you are travelling by car to Cambridge City Centre.
Cambridge Folk Festival - 27th – 30th July
The festival will take place over the last weekend of July in Cherry Hinton Hall in Cambridge. Please expect Traffic delays in the area.
