Autism and Adult Support Service

This service is for people who do not have a prominent disability such as a learning disability, physical disability or a mental health need.

The autism and adult support team support people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and people, who meet eligibility criteria, who may be considered vulnerable in their communities but do not have a diagnosis meaning their needs could not be met by other services.

Support includes:

  • social care assessment and review
  • assistance to develop support plans
  • support for people in their own homes
  • support for carers
  • supported living
  • residential and nursing home placement

We also support young people with ASD, physical disability, and others who may be vulnerable who do not need social care support before the age of 18 but are likely to need support from adult social care.
