Consultation on the extension of the age range of Clarkson Infant School

Cambridgeshire County Council has consulted on the proposal to change the age range of Clarkson Infant School in Wisbech.

The Clarkson Infant School currently provides early years education for children aged 3 and 4 at its maintained nursery class. The proposal was to lower the age range by one year so that children can, in future, enter the maintained nursery class at age 2.

The consultation period ran until Sunday 26 June 2016 and comments were invited until that date.

No responses, comments or objections were received during the consultation period. As a result, the Local Authority, as the admission authority for the school, has determined that this change should be approved and should take effect from 1 September 2016.

More details about the proposal are also contained in the school letter below.
