Expansion of Hatton Park Primary School

Hatton Park currently operates as a 1 form entry (FE) school with permanent accommodation sufficient for 210 pupils and a published admission number (PAN) of 30. The expansion project will increase the school's capacity to 420 (PAN of 60).

The school currently has 7 permanent classrooms and 2 further classrooms in temporary accommodation. The proposed expansion will add 7 new classrooms, with associated facilities (cloakrooms, storage, toilets), a small hall (in addition to the main hall), a larger food technology area, offices, group areas and storage.

There is currently 1 pre-school room at the school. The expansion project will provide the early years setting, Longstanton Pre-School, with 2 purpose-built rooms with associated facilities (staff accommodation and kitchenette) with their own access and outside play area.

Cambridgeshire County Council will fund the new accommodation from within the Council's capital programme.

An open evening was held at the school on Wednesday 20 April 2016 as an opportunity for parents, pupils and local residents to view the current proposals. Display boards from the evening are available to download below. As Hatton Park will relocate to Northstowe whilst the construction company (Kier) are on site, a display showing Pathfinder School is also available below.
