You are no longer legally required to self-isolate if you test positive for COVID-19. Stay at home if you can and avoid contact with other people.
You will not have to take daily tests or be legally required to self-isolate following contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
The Test and Trace Support Payment Scheme has now closed.
If you need to stay at home and have no support from friends, family or neighbours, there is a network of services provided through local hubs that support and help those, if required, who are self-isolating. People who need help whilst isolating can get help online or by calling 0345 045 5219.
