Cambridgeshire is a great place to work and live with a diverse population, an urban centre in Cambridge, historic Isle of Ely, Huntingdon and St Ives as well as more rural landscapes.

Large areas of the county are extremely low-lying, notably Holme Fen which is the UKs lowest physical point contrasting with the Gog Magog Hills and Castle Camps. Wicken Fen is a biological site of special scientific interest managed by the National Trust.

Our vision is creating a greener, fairer and more caring Cambridgeshire by delivering on our seven ambitions (opens as a .pdf)

Why should you join Cambridgeshire County Council?

Our Chief Executive, Stephen Moir, talks about what a great place to live and work in Cambridgeshire is.
