Each year Cambridgeshire Archaeology, in partnership with public, private and voluntary organisations, including Portable Antiquities Scheme (PAS), Cambridge Past, Present & Future (CPPF) and Oxford Archaeology East (OAE), provides a programme of guided walks, activity events and finds identification days throughout the county. This year’s programme has now finished and next year’s programme is in production. We welcome suggestions for locations of guided walks and tours for the future.

Excavation open days

Open days at archaeological sites are often arranged during the period of excavation, so that members of the public can be given a tour of the site. There are currently no open days scheduled but check the Cambridgeshire Archaeology Facebook page for details when they occur.

Conferences and talks

Cambridgeshire Archaeology can offer a range of talks to academic audiences, local societies and the public, such as at the Cambridge Antiquarian Society annual conference.

Archaeology at Must Farm, Whittlesey
