Cambridgeshire Archives Service holds a wealth of unique historic records and other resources relating to Cambridgeshire, the former counties of Huntingdonshire and the Isle of Ely and their communities.
The new home for Cambridgeshire Archives has been confirmed and alteration work on the site in Ely has now begun. Both Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire Archives will be temporarily closed to the public from 1 December 2018. Starting 3 October 2018, Cambridgeshire Archives will be closed on Wednesdays (Huntingdonshire Archives will remain open on Wednesdays until 1 December).
We are temporarily no longer accepting most deposits of records.
These records are free for the public to consult in our searchrooms at Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire Archives, assisted by our expert staff.
