Make a difference, fund the future

Each week over 41,000 people visit Cambridgeshire Libraries, seeking a book, CD's, DVD’s, book a meeting room, access to the internet or to attend one of our many events.

Libraries make a real difference to people’s lives

Here are some of the ways you can be part of the success.

Sponsor Rhymetime in your local library

Rhymetime sessions offer a mix of songs to sing, stories to listen to and nursery rhymes to enjoy and help give children under five a head start before they start school. It is also a great opportunity for parents and carers to meet others.

A donation of £10 pays for one rhymetime session in your local library

A donation of £50 pays for a package of 5 over the school holidays

Pay for a volunteer’s mileage to deliver our Library at Home Service

We have a fantastic group of volunteers who regularly deliver books and other items to library users who cannot get out to their local library. The Library at Home Service is often described as ‘a lifeline’ and our volunteers are reimbursed for travel costs incurred to deliver this vital service.

Just £100 will help pay for a volunteer’s travel costs to deliver the Home Library Service for a year.

Fund an event

We provide a range of events in all of our libraries.  You can help support our Reader Development Programme by funding an author visit.

A donation of £300 will fund one author visit.
