School Transport

COVID compliance

During the academic year 20/21, CCC are working with operators to meet all current COVID compliant requirements outlined by Government, including seat plans for primary school students, face coverings for secondary school students, transport operating at multiple schools being separated and some ‘bubble’ transport for SEND settings.

From September 2021, in accordance to current Government guidance, school transport will be returning to normal. We are working to remove all COVID compliance regulations with affect from September, however, should this guidance be updated, we will change our plans and meet any changes as required.

School Transport

You are responsible for ensuring the necessary transport arrangements are made so that your children can attend school.

In certain circumstances, we will provide free home to school transport. We arrange school transport for children and young people in Cambridgeshire who are eligible for transport.

You will find further information on these pages about who is eligible for transport, our transport policies, how to apply and what other help might be available to you.
