Funding for 2012 to 2015

Cambridgeshire County Council was awarded £5 million from the Government's Local Sustainable Transport Fund (LSTF) for sustainable transport in Cambridgeshire which was used to reduce congestion and help improve journey choices.

The Government’s £560 million Local Sustainable Transport Fund (LSTF) programme was available from 2012 to 2015 for packages of transport measures focused on economic growth and reducing carbon emissions. Our bid was developed with a wide range of partners from across the public, private and third sectors, and focuses on improving links to transport interchanges and corridors, improving links to employment areas and targeted marketing and information. Funding for 2015 to 2016

Cambridgeshire has been successful in its bid to Government for funding for the 2015 to 2016 Local Sustainable Transport Fund and has received £1 million revenue funding requested. The bid was produced with a wide range of partners who all have an interest in improving sustainable travel to meet the needs of our communities.
