What is Get Set and Grow?

A UK Shared Prosperity Funded programme designed to help East Cambridgeshire, Huntingdonshire and South Cambridgeshire based businesses grow.

If you have ambitious plans to scale your business, the Get Set and Grow programme will provide specialist support and one to one advice. Our advisers and external consultants are here to help you to continue building your business whether that means adjusting to ‘the new normal’ or finding new opportunities to pursue. They will help you to be more resilient and adaptable in the face of a changing future.

The key themes addressed in the workshop curriculum and 1:1s will focus on:

  • fundamental principles to help your business to innovate and scale
  • how you can refine your business model
  • monetising your assets
  • diversifying your product or service offering to reach new audiences

We understand that taking time away from your business requires a lot of coordination so it’s important that when you do, it’s of value. The Get Set and Grow’s workshop and one-to-one model will give you practical and tailored advice with an action plan to take away.

How does it work?

The programme comprises of six modules, including:

  • Introduction and meet your peers
  • Refining Your Business Model & Growth Strategy
  • Building Your Brand and Creating a Marketing Strategy
  • Financial Planning for Growth

The programme will run 6 times up until December 2024. You will be required to commit to approximately 4 hours a week, over 12 weeks. Up to 20 businesses can take part each time.

By December 2024 we will have supported 120 businesses with their growth aspirations.
