With a legal case continuing to progress, working towards a trial date in Summer 2023, Members re-confirmed their commitment at today’s Strategy and Resources Committee that under the new Joint Administration, there was no change in direction with the Council prepared to take legal action and has set aside the financial resources to do so should this prove to be necessary in the interests of local taxpayers.
The council is making no further comment at this stage.
