Funding for future schemes is anticipated for April 2023 - we await confirmation from government, and will update these pages in due course.

Funded energy efficiency improvements for your home

The Cambridgeshire Energy Retrofit Partnership works to deliver funded energy efficiency improvements across the county. We have previously secured grant funding for lower income households in Cambridgeshire to improve energy efficiency, save money on their heating bills and cut carbon.

The scheme can deliver energy saving measures such as:

  • Cavity wall insulation
  • Loft insulation
  • Solid wall insulation
  • Floor insulation
  • Draught-proofing
  • Heat pumps
  • Solar PV

The grant can cover 100% of the costs of upgrading owner occupied homes and two thirds of the costs of upgrading privately rented homes, with the landlord contributing the balance. Maximum grant available depends on the home’s current Energy Performance Certificate band, fuel type and ownership.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this work, your household needs to have an annual income in the region of no more than £34,500 and you need to live in a home which has an energy performance certificate (EPC) rating of D, E, F or G. (Don’t worry if you don’t know what your home’s EPC rating is. We can help with this).

You must also be a Cambridgeshire resident.

If you think you might be eligible, register your interest by contacting your District Council via the links below.
