The Infrastructure Funding Statement (IFS) provides information on the monetary and non-monetary contributions sought and received from developers for the provision of infrastructure to support development in Cambridgeshire, and the subsequent use of those contributions by Cambridgeshire County Council.
We are required to publish this in accordance with UK Government planning policy, in particular the Community Infrastructure Levy (Amendment) (England) (No. 2) Regulations 2019, which came into force on 1 September 2019.
As Cambridgeshire County Council is not a Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) charging authority, this statement will report solely on contributions sought under Section 106 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (S106 contributions).
CIL charging authorities are required to report on CIL and S106 receipts in their own IFS. In Cambridgeshire, two districts operate the charging of CIL, and they are East Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire.
The Infrastructure Funding Statements cover the reporting year from 1 April to 31 March. The most current reports are provided below.
