Page summary
This page shows details of our 2025 Quality of life survey results and findings. This includes a survey summary and full survey report document to read or download.
What is the Quality of Life survey?
The survey was first launched in 2023 as part of our vision to make Cambridgeshire greener, fairer and more caring.
The Quality of Life Survey aims to gain insight into the experiences of residents across Cambridgeshire, understanding their views and needs on topics such as life and community, transport, health and wellbeing, children and young people, the council, and its services.
It aims to track the responses of residents over time to see how changes to council decisions and policies, as well as the work of other public sector bodies in the county, affect people’s views.
Since 2024, the survey has been run in partnership with the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority, South Cambridgeshire District Council and Cambridge Ahead.

2. Residents remain concerned about the cost of living and jobs and investment

This is continuing to put pressure on residents, with over half of residents reporting taking action this year as a result of cost of living increases.
