Oxford Road/Windsor Road junction proposals public consultation

Introduction

We are undertaking a public consultation on proposed safety improvements to the Oxford Road/Windsor Road junction in Cambridge. The consultation will run for five weeks, from Thursday 11 September to Thursday 16 October.

The majority of feedback we received during previous consultations was in favour of keeping the barrier at the Windsor Road end of the passageway. As such we have decided to retain the barrier in the latest design proposals.

Have your say

We would now like your views on a number of other proposed safety measures that will help:

  • slow traffic through the junction
  • make crossing the road easier
  • and allow for more waiting space for pedestrians and cyclists between the barrier and the carriageway.

You may wish to look at the design drawing (below) before starting the survey. You can zoom in on the drawing. You can also view the drawing within the survey itself.
