Any transport provider staff working on Cambridgeshire County Council or Peterborough City Council Passenger Transport are required to have a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) clearance before they are eligible to work on our contracts.
The transport provider (or staff member) must complete a DBS request (link below) which will start the process, this request will collate all the staff members details and take payment for the DBS to be carried out. If the application is successful, a DBS badge will be sent to the transport provider to distribute with the staff member.
DBS badges must be worn at all times whilst on Passenger Transport contracts. Badges are valid for 3 years, and it is the responsibility of the transport provider and staff to reapply in a timely manner.
Payments will be made taken with the DBS application, with no exceptions.
