Cambridgeshire County Council has approved a three-year extension to all existing Older Adults Social Inclusion (OASI) grants. The current funding period ends on 31 March 2027. The extension will run from 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2030.
These grants were originally awarded through the former Care Together programme. Details of the original awards are set out below. Older Adults Social Inclusion Grants (OASI)
The two providers of Building Based Day Opportunities in March, Fenland (with funding approved from April 2025 to March 2027) are as follows:

Community transport applications 2024-27
In June and July 2024, previously unallocated budget for Community Transport in Cambridge City and Fenland was made available in the form of a Transport Grant. Following careful evaluation of bids, these grants were awarded to the following providers in Autumn 2024:

Original OASI applications 2023
In 2023, the Care Together team received grant applications from every corner of the county for our Older Adults Social Inclusion Grants, worth £479,963 per year, for three years. These applications were carefully evaluated, and decisions made on how best to fund activities and services that maintain independence and support social inclusion of older adults in our communities.
The original awards funded the services and social inclusion activities below, as they offered the best value for money and were intended to enable us to support the highest number of older people.

Care Network Cambridgeshire have also received a grant for their RISE (Resilience, Intervention, Support and Empowerment) Service across all districts, focusing on avoiding Mental Health crisis and promoting wellbeing.
