The Director of Public Health has a statutory duty to produce an annual public health report looking at the health of the community in which they work.
These reports are aimed at the general public as well as Councillors and health professionals and are a key opportunity to engage the community and health professionals with key issues affecting the local area.
Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council had a joint Director of Public Health when this report was produced.
The report focuses on making the case for universal approaches to improve the health and wellbeing of our population, coupled with the systematic identification of individuals at need who can then benefit from evidence-based intervention.
Previous reports are also available to read on the Cambridgeshire Insight website.
