The current local assistance scheme ended on 31 March 2026. We will be developing a new local assistance scheme that will come into effect in the Autumn.
We recognise that there will be a gap in provision between 1 April 2026 and Autumn. Citizens Advice Rural Cambs and Citizens Advice Cambridge and District continue to offer support during this time for any household facing unexpected financial difficulty.
