Manage your account online

You can log into your library account from a web browser to:

  • renew library books
  • renew your membership (if it has expired)
  • pay fees
  • update your details

Your login details will be the 16 digit membership ID and PIN you were given when you joined the library.

Lost your PIN or ID number?

If you are an existing Cambridgeshire Libraries member we can help you find your PIN number and borrower ID.

You can reset your library PIN with your library ID number (same as your library card number). You must have an email address linked to your library account. We will email you with a link to reset your password. You will receive the email within 5 to 10 minutes.

If you don't have an email address you will need to contact us to reset your PIN.

We can send you an email which shows your library ID. But first, you need to reset your PIN number (password) using your name and email address:

  1. Go to the ‘Reset your password’ webpage, click on the link highlighted in the sentence “If you have forgotten your borrower ID or username, you can reset using your name and email address.
  2. Enter the email address you have on your library account, your first name and surname. Click on “Continue”. You will receive an email within 5 to 10 minutes containing your library borrower ID and a link to reset your password.
  3. Then you can choose to click on the link to reset your PIN. Or if you do remember your PIN, you don’t need to reset it. Use it with your library ID to access our eResources.

Unable to log into your account?

Please contact us if you are unable to log into your account.

Unexpected items on your account?

If there is an item on your account which you never borrowed, or you have already returned, please tell us using the online form below. We will put a freeze on charges while we search for the item in the library.

Lost items

If you have lost an item you have borrowed from the library, we can put a freeze on late charges while you look for it. Please tell us using the online form below.

Notices and reminders

We send the following emails to customers with a registered email address:

  • renewals reminder - when book loans are due for return in four days time. We only send reminders for items on loan for at least 3 weeks.
  • reservation available notice - when reserved items are ready for collection.
  • overdue notice - email (or post if the customer has no email address) at intervals after loans have become overdue.

All library emails, other than e-newsletters, will be sent from the email address cambridgeshire@spydus.co.uk and will have the subject line 'Cambridgeshire Libraries'. Please do not reply to this email address.
