What’s happening
We are working with Cherry Hinton primary schools and the local community to understand how children travel to school and the challenges families face. We want to make school journeys safer, easier, and more sustainable.
Why we’re doing this
We want to hear how you currently travel, where you need to go, and what might help you choose more active travel options, such as walking, cycling, or wheeling. If you travel by car, we’d like to understand the reasons behind that choice. We also want to know what might help you switch some journeys to other ways of travelling.
School‑run traffic makes up a significant part of daily congestion. Reducing car use and improving options for active travel benefits the whole community.
Survey update
Thank you for all the responses we received. The survey has now closed, and we are looking at your responses. Once we have evaluated the data we will work to deliver some projects that meet the need of each school.
