A Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) is a legal document. Under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, local authorities can implement TROs which allows the highways authority (Cambridgeshire County Council) to:
- improve road safety
- preserve or improve the character or amenity of an area
- prevent use of a road by unsuitable vehicles
- prevent serious damage to the highway
- reduce and manage congestion
Permanent Traffic Regulation Orders
Implementing a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) requires a statutory procedure to be followed. This includes:

- Advertisement
- Making the Order

PR1150 proposed TRO Cambridgeshire County Council (St Andrews Place, Whittlesey) (Disabled Persons Parking Place) Order 202-
Cambridgeshire County Council proposes to make the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police the effect of which will be to implement a disabled persons parking place in Whittlesey in the vicinity of 14 St Andrews Place.

PR1149 The District of Huntingdonshire (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Order 2025 (Amendment No. 16) Order 202-
Cambridgeshire County Council proposes to make the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police the effect of which will be to:
- Implement disabled persons parking places in St Neots in the vicinity of 14 Springfield Close, 17 Browns Square, 43 Peer Road and 68 Kings Road. The disabled persons parking bays in the vicinity of 27 Wintringham Road, 39 Springbrook and 47 Beauchamp Close will be removed.

Cambridgeshire County Council proposes to make the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police the effect of which will be to:
- Implement disabled persons parking places in Huntingdon in the vicinity of 3 East Street, 9 Kingston Close and 22 Bevan Close. The disabled persons parking bays in the vicinity of 14b White Hart Lane, Godmanchester and 18 Olivia Road, Brampton will be removed.

PR1117 – A1307 and Views Common Link Road, Huntingdon Speed Limits Consolidation Order
Recently made speed limit Order revoking the 40mph speed limit on the A1307 between points 107m and 684m southeast of its junction with Pathfinder Link Road and between points 157m and 1922m northwest of the centre of the Views Common Link Road roundabout. The Order will come into operation on 25 September 2025.

Recently made traffic regulation Order relating to the install of double yellow lines on High Street, Horn Lane, Symonds Lane and Hillway, Linton, alongside the install of parking bays, disabled parking bays and a bus stop clearway on High Street. The Order will come into operation on 25 September 2025.
