On Monday 16 March, the Prime Minister announced an additional £53 million of support nationally for households to combat the rising cost of heating oil (kerosene). This funding is intended to support vulnerable households or those facing financial shock.
At this stage, the Council is awaiting further guidance from the Department for Work and Pensions. This page will be updated with further details on available funding and the eligibility criteria. Please check back on 1 April 2026 for more information.
