Learning Disability Partnership - psychiatry team
A learning disability psychiatrist is a doctor who can help when you are feeling:
- sad
- worried/anxious
- angry
- scared
We can help by: talking to you about how you are feeling,
Talking to the people who help you to understand what is happening, if you agree
Giving advice on medication
Monitoring your mental health and behaviour
Talking to your GP about how to support you
We can see you at:
- LDP Clinic in your local area
- your home
- your day placement
- LDP office
Sometimes we will see you in hospital if you are unwell or troubled.
If you think a learning disability psychiatrist can help you please contact your local team.
