All Cambridgeshire Libraries offer printing, scanning and photocopy facilities in A4, black and white, and colour. Larger libraries also offer A3 printing and photocopying. Find information on individual libraries' printing facilities in the Cambridgeshire Online Directory.
The latest fees for printing can be found on our library fees and charges webpage.
Our new system allows you to print from any device or even from home.
Using Cirros to print your files
Print from your own device
Go to Cirros Intelligent Print and select 'Anonymous user.'

Select the files from your device that you want to print.
You can print a range of file types, including:
- Word documents
- JPEG
- PNG image files
Click confirm when you have selected the right files.

Print from a library computer
Find the file, document or image that you want to print, then select the print option.
Check that the printer name is 'Send to Cirros.'
Preview your files and print settings
You will see the following screen where you will preview your document and the cost to print it.

You can choose to print in colour (auto) rather than black and white here - this will increase the cost of your printing.
Send your files to 'the cloud'
Make a note of the job code, and click 'Print to cloud.' This will make your file available for print in any library.
Once you click 'Print to cloud' you have 72 hours to collect the printing from any Cambridgeshire library. If you do not collect your printing your file will not be printed, you will not be charged and the print job will be deleted.

Collecting your printing
You can pay:
- using contactless self-service at the printer, or
- with cash at the desk. A member of staff will need to assist you to print your documents. (Cash payment not available during Open Plus hours.)
Touch the screen to wake the printer up, then press 'Print.'
On the next screen, enter the job code, press OK and then confirm. We cannot retrieve job codes. If you forget or lose your code you will need to send your files to print again to get a new code.
You can review the settings and cost of the job, then press the green printer icon to send the job to print.
If you have more than one job code, you can enter additional codes now.

You can pay for your prints by contactless card. Please wait for the amount to display on the card reader attached to the printer before tapping your card.
Once you have paid, your files will print underneath the printer.

Photocopying
The printers can also produce photocopies. You do this yourself by selecting the 'Copy' icon on the printer screen.
To edit or enlarge a photocopy, please ask for help at the desk.
