Dr Bike sessions - free bike safety checks

Is your bike ready to go? Whether it’s been a while or you ride daily, our Dr Bike sessions offer:

  • free safety checks
  • minor repairs
  • expert tips to keep your bike in top condition

Available to book in locations across East Cambridgeshire, South Cambridgeshire, Fenland and Huntingdonshire until November 2025.

Street Tag – Turn your walks into wins

Street Tag is a free app that transforms your neighbourhood into a virtual playground. Walk, run, cycle, or wheel to collect virtual tags and climb the leaderboard.

Compete for prizes and stay active while having fun.

Cambridge Criterium – Sunday 24 August at Jesus Green

Join us for a day of excitement, challenges, and community fun at the Cambridge Criterium. The Active Travel Team will be there with:

  • Trail Booklet Challenge
    Solve clues around the circuit to crack the code and win prizes!
  • Modular Pump Track
    Ride ramps, balance beams, and slalom courses — bikes and helmets provided. All ages welcome!
  • Bike marking with Cambridgeshire Police
    Keep your bike safe with free marking — no booking needed.
  • Healthy You
    Free mini health checks and wellness tips to keep you feeling great.
  • Meet the teams from Greater Cambridge Partnership, Smart Journeys, and more for advice, activities, and resources.

Come along, get involved, and enjoy a fantastic day out.

Love to Ride – Track your cycling journey

Use the Love to Ride app to log your rides, join motivational challenges, and win prizes. Perfect for beginners and seasoned cyclists alike — with helpful videos to get you started.

Breeze Ride training – Empowering women to ride

Join the supportive Breeze Rides community. We're funding training for new ride leaders to help more women enjoy cycling.
