Enterprise Car Club

Enterprise Car Club is the official car club provider on behalf of Cambridgeshire County Council and Cambridge City Council.

The club gives residents 24/7 pay-as-you-go access to 35 low-emission hybrid vehicles parked on streets, car parks and Enterprise Rent-A-Car branches across Cambridge City via a mobile app.

Members can not only access the vehicles available across the city, but also the wider 1,200 cars and vans located in towns and cities across the UK.

Many Enterprise Car Club vehicles are located at transport hubs or railway stations to make it easier to travel around the UK using public transport.

Enterprise Car Club and sustainability

Encouraging residents and business to make use of shared transport provisions, such as car clubs, helps to reduce congestion and improve air quality in the city.

Enterprise Car Club is working with Cambridgeshire County Council and Cambridge City Council to support Cambridge transitioning to an Ultra-Low Emission City.

Vehicles being made available are mostly fuel-efficient hybrids and there is an ambition to migrate these to fully electric models as infrastructure is put in place.
