Driver training services
The Road Safety Team offers Driver Training services for professional bodies. These include schools, colleges, community groups, local authority services and other organisations. To find the right driver training for your team, please email us at road.safety@cambridgeshire.gov.uk.
Minibus driver training
As part of our Cambridgeshire Minibus Driver Assessment Scheme (CAMDAS), we offer:
- Standard Minibus Driver Training – for driving minibuses with up to 16 passenger seats
- Standard MPV/Car Driver Training – for driving vehicles with less than nine passenger seats
- Passenger Assistant Training (PAT) – equipment training for wheelchair accessible vehicles, for transporting disabled or wheelchair user passengers

Older Driver Workshops
We partner with Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue who deliver Older Driver Workshops for those aged 65 and over who currently drive. More information including how to book a place can be found at Older Driver Workshops.
National Driver Offender Retraining Schemes
Drivers who have been referred by the Police to the National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme (NDORS), can book their training with our partner Hertfordshire County Council visit National Driver Offender Re-training Courses | Hertfordshire County Council.
