Cambridgeshire County Council works with key partners across the local health and care system to reduce the impact of cold weather on the health of vulnerable people. This includes both statutory and non-statutory organisations. We do this through the Stay Well this Winter programme
The aim of the Stay Well this Winter grant is to offer direct financial aid of up to £400. This is to contribute towards, but not limited to:
- future heating costs
- small home improvements
- sleeping bags
for vulnerable individuals and families living in Cambridgeshire facing fuel poverty.
Applications for a grant will be made by a statutory or a non-statutory organisation. They must first identify the recipient as being eligible.
The council is inviting experienced organisations to submit a bid to manage and deliver the Stay Well this Winter Grant. This Request for Quotations sets out the Council's requirements.
Please find available to download the Stay Well this Winter grant specification.
Organisations can apply by downloading the Stay Well this Winter grant evaluation and assessment form.
Please return your completed evaluation and assessment form to sion.james@cambridegeshire.gov.uk by 26 September 2025.
