Part D - Committees
This section of the constitution provides information on the functions and meetings of the committees that have been established by the Council, and it includes the following chapters:
D1 (Role of Committees) - the different types of committees established by the Council, the chairs, vice-chairs and spokes for committees, and outside bodies and the advisory process.
D2 (Committee Procedure Rules) - rules for committee meetings, including how they are organised, how debates and votes are carried out, how amendments can be moved, and the appointment and substitution processes.
D3 (Procedure Rules for Urgent Decisions and Decision Review) - how urgent decisions can be taken by committees or the Chief Executive, and the procedure for reviewing decisions.
D4 (Strategy, Resources and Performance Committee) - membership, functions and delegated authorities of the Strategy, Resources and Performance Committee.
D5 (Adults and Health Committee) - membership, functions and delegated authorities of the Adults and Health Committee.
D6 (Assets and Procurement Committee) - membership, functions and delegated authorities of the Assets and Procurement Committee and the Shareholder Sub-Committee.
D7 (Children and Young People Committee) - membership, functions and delegated authorities of the Children and Young People Committee and the Corporate Parenting Sub-Committee.
