As well as support from a personal adviser, we may be able to offer you additional practical and emotional support, such as;

  • Mentoring - Cambridgeshire Care Leavers Mentoring Programme (goal17.global).
  • Help to maintain or regain contact with people who are special to you or who cared for you in the past. This includes former foster carers, Independent Visitors or social workers.
  • Support to re-connect with family where it is in your best interests. If your family lives far away and is difficult to see often, we can assist with the cost of public transport. This support is available up to three times per year.
  • If you are an unaccompanied asylum seeker, we will provide you with a £15 international phone card each month up to your 18th birthday. This will help you keep in touch with your family.
