Manea Community Primary School sits in the heart of the village and caters for children from 4 to 11 years old.
Manea pre-school is also on the school site and caters for children who are 3 and 4 years old. There are several housing developments underway or proposed in Manea village which will increase the numbers of pupils requiring pre-school and school places.
In response to this demand, we are pleased to announce the development of proposals for the expansion of Manea Community Primary School, to include a new teaching wing and pre-school extension.
The teaching wing will replace the double mobile and provide an additional 60 places. The pre-school extension will provide space for up to 40 children per session and will also involve refurbishment of the existing provision. In addition, the existing school hall will be extended and there will be internal re-modelling to improve facilities for pupils with special educational needs.
Accommodation for the pre-school will be operational after October half term 2024. The remaining works to the school will be operational in the Spring term 2025.
