We have an exciting opportunity to advertise your business using space on the back of our three mobile libraries.

You can get unrivalled exposure to your business whilst we deliver library and information services to 230 communities across Cambridgeshire, each month.

We also offer the opportunity to advertise on our two vans. They delivery stock to five library areas each week day.

Our mobile libraries provide great value advertising space. Get your message to residents, motorists, cyclists, pedestrians and library visitors.

We can also offer poster display and leaflet/bookmark distribution from within the vehicles.

Cambridgeshire Libraries receives the advertising revenue. Advertising with mobile libraries helps us to continue what is an essential service to many of our customers.

Mobile library routes

Each mobile library covers a different area of Cambridgeshire: Fenland, Huntingdon, and Cambridge.

  • The Cambridge area mobile library stops at 132 locations and 76 villages and communities across Cambridge City and South Cambridgeshire.
  • The Fenland and East Cambridgeshire area mobile library stops at 131 locations in 78 villages and communities.
  • The Huntingdon area mobile library stops at 146 locations in 101 villages and communities.

We offer competitive pricing and special deals for longer bookings. We offer a 20% discount for a 6 month contract across all Mobile Libraries.

Prices quoted do not include additional artwork, design or fitting of advertising transfers. All advertising is subject to terms and conditions.

Design requirements

We require all adverts to be 300dpi in either JPEG, PDF, eps or tiff format.

There will be a minimum three week lead time from order to fitting.

  1. Terms and conditions apply to all orders.
  2. All advertising campaigns must be confirmed on an order.
  3. Payment, including VAT, is due on receipt of invoice.
  4. In the event of prices being increased, the rate to an individual or organisation will remain as confirmed in the order.
  5. We reserve the right to refuse an advert design without providing specific reasons.
  6. Adverts must be approved by Cambridgeshire Libraries (Cambridgeshire County Council).
  7. Cancellation
    • Cancellation notice must be provided in writing.
    • No cancellation charge will apply if notice is provided within a week of placing an order.
    • Artwork charges may still apply.
    • Any cancellation after a week of a placed order will be charged at 50% of the agreed price, including any artwork charge.
  8. Publication dates cannot be guaranteed.
  9. The advertiser confirms that the advert:
    • complies with the requirements of all relevant legislation;
    • complies with the British Codes of Advertising and Sales Promotion and all other relevant codes under the general supervision of the Advertising Standards Authority and any other relevant industry codes of practice;
    • will not be defamatory, obscene, false or misleading;
    • will not infringe or violate any copyright, trade mark or any other personal or proprietary right of any person (including any right of privacy) or render the Publisher liable to any proceedings whatsoever.
  10. Artwork
    • Signs are fitted by our preferred supplier, Create Signs Ltd
    • The advertiser accepts responsibility for all content including any errors.
  11. It is solely the responsibility of the customer to proof-read and ensure that all details are correct.
  12. We do not accept responsibility for any errors or omissions noticed after a job has been approved and gone to print.
