Get Activated

Summer is here and Get Activated is back for its fourth year – offering families free and low-cost activities from local organisations across Cambridgeshire.

From sports, arts and crafts, and outdoor adventures, to wellbeing sessions and community events, there will be plenty of fun and healthy ways to stay active and this summer. Families can enjoy a wide range of activities to keep everyone entertained.

Child and Family Centres are welcoming spaces where families can access a wide range of support. They have lots of fun activities for children, from babies to teenagers.

Cambridgeshire libraries have 100s of free or low-cost events for families taking place in our 33 libraries this summer. Get involved with LEGO clubs, indoor gardening, board and games mornings, and all sorts of craft activities.

Sign up for our free 2026 Summer Reading Challenge at your local library. Read six fabulous library books, collect all six special stickers and you could receive a medal and certificate.

Discover 50 fun and educational activities for children under five in Cambridgeshire. From outdoor adventures to creative crafts, make memories with your little ones with these free or low-cost things to do.
