My Blue Badge has been stolen, what do I do?
If your Blue Badge has over six months validity please follow these steps:
- Report the theft to the police and obtain an incident ID number.
- Request a replacement badge by completing the Blue Badge replacement form.
If your Blue Badge is due to expire within six months please follow this step:

You will need to apply for a new badge instead of requesting a replacement. Complete the Apply for a new Blue Badge form.

What do I need to complete the form?
- Incident ID number, if badge stolen
- Proof of address, dated within last 12 months. View accepted documents.
- A debit or credit card to pay with
- Read and accept our Blue Badge terms and conditions
How long will it take to issue a replacement badge?
Once we have received all the information we will issue your replacement badge (including clock) within 10 working days.
How much will it cost?
A replacement badge will cost £10. The amount is taken during the online application. It can be paid by using a credit or debit card. Blue Badge clocks are free of charge to Cambridgeshire residents.
What can delay or cancel my application?
Please note if you do not send the requested proof of address within 8 weeks, we will cancel your replacement badge application.
How will I receive application updates?
After you have submitted the online form, you will receive updates to the email address entered on the form. You can expect an email message confirming we have received the application stating a reference number.
We will use email throughout the process. The sender’s name and email address will be Blue Badge Cambridgeshire Blue.Badges@cambridgeshire.gov.uk. Please do check your junk/spam folder before contacting us.
