Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

If you complete one of our online Blue Badge forms, you will receive updates to the email address entered on the form.

The contact method will be by email during the process. The sender’s name and email address will be Blue Badge Cambridgeshire Blue.Badges@cambridgeshire.gov.uk.

Please do check your junk/spam email folder before contacting us.

When your Blue Badge is issued you will receive an email saying that your will be delivered within 10 working days.

Due to current delays with Royal Mail, we kindly ask for your patience and advise allowing up to 3 weeks for delivery. If you contact us during the 3-week period, we will not be able to process any requests for replacements.

If the badge does not arrive within 3 weeks, please notify the Blue Badge team by email Blue.Badges@cambridgeshire.gov.uk or call 0345 045 5204. We will issue a replacement badge free of charge and cancel the previous one.

If you contact us after 8 weeks from the badge issue date, please be aware that we will be required to charge you a £10 replacement fee.

If you are an existing Blue Badge holder and you have recently moved address, please email your new address details and Blue Badge number to Blue.Badges@cambridgeshire.gov.uk.

If your badge was issued more than 12 months ago, you may be asked to provide proof of address (POA) for the new location.

If your circumstances have changed or your condition has improved and you no longer need to use your Blue Badge, please let us know so we can update our records.

If your Blue Badge has been lost, stolen, or damaged you can apply for a replacement. Visit replace your lost, stolen or damaged Blue Badge for details on how to apply, information to send for each situation, and the replacement form link. 

Yes. If you are a Cambridgeshire resident, and need a new Blue Badge parking clock, please complete our apply for a replacement Blue Badge clock online form.

Replacement clocks are free of charge. This service is for Cambridgeshire residents only.

If you are a valid Blue Badge holder who lives in a Cambridge resident parking scheme area, you can apply for a visitor parking permit.

The Blue Badge holder visitor parking permits are free of charge. You must include your Blue Badge number on the application form.

If you relocate to another county in England, your Blue Badge will remain valid until its expiration date.

You will need to apply for a new Blue Badge with the provider in your new area of residence. Ensure you apply in plenty of time before your current badge expires. Keep your details updated

It is very important that we have your correct details as an existing Blue Badge holder. If you have moved address, changed your name, email address, or there are changes in your health conditions please email Blue.Badges@cambridgeshire.gov.uk and provide your Blue Badge number.
