Private Fostering
- Do you provide care for a child who is not a close relative? Or do you know of someone who is?
- Are they under 16, or 18 if they have a disability?
- Will you be providing care for more than 28 days? Or do you know of anyone who is providing care for over 28 days who is not a close relative?
- You or they could be a Private Foster Carer.
- Legislation requires that children in this type of arrangement need to be assessed by the Local Authority under Private Fostering regulations.
