Cambridge Academy for Science and Technology

Cambridge Academy for Science and Technology is part of Cambridge Academic Partnership. (It was previously known as University Technical College.)

The Academy focuses on science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). It provides students aged 12 to 19 with a pathway to university and onto careers in the STEM subjects.

It is based in Cambridge. Leading industry and academic partners bring work-based learning into the curriculum.

The Academy is committed to equal opportunities and welcomes enrolments from everyone, irrespective of background, gender, disability or support needs.

Catchment area

Places are not limited to those living in Cambridgeshire. The main catchment area is within a 25 mile straight line radius of Cambridge Academy for Science and Technology (CAST). However, please be aware that transport assistance will only be provided to CAST in line with the Council's Home To School Travel Assistance Policy.
