Local Transport Plan (LTP)

In May 2017, a Mayor was directly-elected and the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority (CPCA) was formed as part of the devolution deal agreed with Central Government. The CPCA now has the strategic transport powers and is the Local Transport Authority for the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough area. The Mayor sets the overall transport strategy for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and is developing the Draft Local Transport and Connectivity Plan (LTCP). To find out more about the LTCP visit the CPCA website.

Cambridgeshire County Council has continued to develop Transport Strategies for the county, which are adopted as child strategies of the LTCP. The relationship between transport policies produced by the different partners in the region can be viewed below.

Read further information about the CPCA Local Transport Plan on the CPCA website.
