Cambridge University Technical College was one of the first UTCs to open nationwide, as part of a Government-funded programme to give those aged 14-19 pathways into university and rewarding industry careers.

Cambridge UTC, which opened in 2014, is a centre for young people wanting to break into the specialist fields of Science and Technology. It is based in Cambridge within a world renowned science hub, working with leading industry and academic partners to ensure work-based learning is interwoven in the curriculum. It is fully committed to equalising opportunities and welcomes enrolments from everyone; irrespective of background, gender, disability or support needs.
